Job Summary and Qualifications

Essential Functions:

• Provide high-quality mental health care and promote a therapeutic environment
• Respect patient rights and confidentiality
• Escort patients safely to activities
• Monitor vital signs accurately
• Maintain cleanliness of the unit
• Build positive relationships with staff
• Answer calls professionally and record messages accurately
• Support effective program operation and maintain documentation
• Assist with patients' daily activities and ensure safety
• Promote customer satisfaction and continuous improvement
• Adhere to scheduled work hours and policies

Qualifications:

• Required: BCLS and CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 30 days of hire
• Preferred: 1+ year experience as a Mental Health Technician; Degree in psychology or human services
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
