Job summary

Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital in Talladega, AL is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Tech II for a full-time night shift (7pm–7am) with every other weekend. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN, support behavioral health patients, and contribute to a safe, compassionate environment.

Requirements include 2+ years in patient care, CPR certification, and willingness to obtain Handle with Care certification within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in patient care.
• CPR certification required.
• Handle with Care certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general patient care and comfort under RN supervision.
• Document observations accurately.
• Participate in patient care planning and education activities.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and milieu management as assigned.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization of the unit.
• Communicate patient needs and changes in condition to the RN.
