Mental Health Technician Full Time – Days only (7AM – 7PM).
The Psychiatric Institute of Washington (PIW) provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare for children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults with mental health and addictive illnesses. PIW is a 130‑bed, short‑term, acute‑care hospital offering inpatient, partial and intensive outpatient hospitalization, as well as specialized treatment programs for chemical dependency.
Provide direct patient care to adolescents (ages 10‑17) and adults (ages 18‑65+). Work under supervision of a registered nurse and support the program philosophy and structure. Participate in group meetings and lead task groups. Prior mental health, behavioral health experience is a plus.
PIW requires staff to be fully vaccinated against COVID‑19 (including booster shots, where allowed), unless a disability, medical condition, or religious belief provides a reasonable accommodation.
PIW participates in E‑Verify. We provide the Social Security Administration and, if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security with the required information from each new employee’s Form I‑9 to confirm work authorization. This information is not used to pre‑screen applicants.
