Psychinstitute in Washington, DC is seeking a Resource Mental Health Technician for a part-time position. This role involves providing direct patient care to adolescents and adults, following the Nursing Department's standards and protocols.
Candidates must have prior mental health experience and a high school diploma, with a preference for a bachelor's degree. Additional benefits include generous paid time off and tuition reimbursement.
Responsible for providing direct patient care to adolescents from the ages of 10-17 years of age and adults ages 18-65+ in accordance with the philosophy and standards of practice defined by the Nursing Department. Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, supports and maintains the program philosophy and structure, participates in group meetings, leads task groups, and assists with safe and timely external transports, ensuring patient comfort and adherence to safety protocols.
Prior Mental Health, Behavioral Health experience required.
