UofL Health, Peace - Louisville location, is seeking a Mental Health Tech to assist in caring for psychiatric patients in crisis under RN supervision. You will help maintain a safe environment, support daily living activities, and participate in crisis intervention and patient treatment as ordered.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and ideally 1 year of inpatient psychiatry or related experience. Must have a valid driver’s license for transport roles.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year inpatient or emergency psychiatry or related experience preferred.
• CPR certification for Healthcare Providers required.

Responsabilités

• Monitors and maintains the therapeutic environment.
• Assists with crisis identification, management and stabilization.
• Transports patients and accompanies them for tests.
• Assists with admissions, discharges and daily living activities.
• Performs vital signs, phlebotomy and point-of-care testing as needed.
