Job summary

Endeavor Health is hiring a Mental Health Associate I at Evanston Hospital to join per diem staffing. You will support treatment groups, supervise patients, and help with discharge planning while ensuring safety and accurate documentation across shifts.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Health or related field, or a BH-focused degree with BH experience, plus CPI and CPR certifications. A valid driver’s license may be required for off-site duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Health or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in non-Behavioral Health with at least one year of behavioral health experience.
• Maintain information as highly confidential; maintain professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates groups and activities within treatment programs and supports patient participation.
• Provides one-to-one supervision to ensure patient safety and accurate precautions records.
• Orients new patients to unit, program, and milieu; communicates handoff information.
• Participates in treatment planning with the interdisciplinary team and discharge planning input.
• Completes patient, program, and department documentation.
• Performs clerical and administrative tasks to support department operations.
• Monitors patient progress and communicates updates to shift charge and families.
