The role involves admission assistance, patient orientation, documentation, safety, and ongoing support to patients across various activities, with a focus on confidentiality and patient well-being.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in admission procedures.
• Orient the patient to the unit/hospital environment.
• Identify and record patient valuables.
• Complete documentation requirements.
• Communicate significant changes in patient status to medical staff.
• Supervise and support patients in bathing and hygiene as needed.
• Maintain awareness of dietary needs and record nutritional intake.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment per fire and infection control standards.
• Assist anxious or agitated patients with a supportive approach.
• Escort and supervise patients to appointments or legal proceedings as required.
