Colorado Department of Corrections seeks a Mental Health Clinician to provide comprehensive mental health care for inmates at the Pueblo facilities. The role involves managing a caseload, developing tailored treatment plans, and delivering individual and group therapy to individuals with various mental health needs.

The position requires licensure through the Colorado DORA and experience with mental health and/or sex offender populations.

Qualifikationen

• Must possess one or more current, valid licenses from the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA).
• LCSW, LPC, Psychologist or MFT license required.
• One year of licensed or license candidacy experience with current Colorado licensure.
• Experience with mental health and/or sex offender population.

Aufgaben

• Provide mental health care to inmates with mental illness, developmental disabilities, or high suicide risk.
• Develop and implement individualized mental health treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions.
• Perform routine mental health assessments and interviews to monitor progress.
• Update diagnoses and psychiatric needs levels; refer to psychology as needed.
• Coordinate with psychiatry with client history and treatment options.
• Participate in 24-hour On Call system and manage emergencies.
• Ensure continuity of care and proper referrals during transfers.
