The State of South Carolina, Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services, seeks a specialized mental health supervisor to lead a caseload of individuals living with mental illness. You will maintain a professional network with stakeholders, advocate for supervisees to attain stability, and ensure adherence to supervision programs, policies, and protocols.

This on-site role requires a bachelor’s degree with 15 hours in social/behavioral sciences and probation/parole experience;

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 15 semester hours in social or behavioral sciences and experience in probation and parole work.
• Associate’s degree and two (2) years of military or certified law enforcement experience may be substituted.
• High school diploma and four (4) years of military or certified law enforcement experience may be substituted.
• Certification by the Law Enforcement Training Council per SC law is required.

Mansioni

• Serve as the first line of supervision for a caseload of individuals living with a mental illness.
• Maintain professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Advocate for supervisees to seek/maintain stability and access services.
• Maintain knowledge of all areas of mental health supervision, programs, policies and protocols.
• Participate in trainings and maintain Mental Health Certification requirements.
