Qualifications

Schedule: Full time, 36 hrs, 3 -12 hr shifts, 7A-7P, Day shift, rotating weekends

Responsibilities
  • Protect and maintain a secure psychiatric hospital environment by upholding rules and regulations for staff, patients, visitors, and the facility.
  • Provide patient assistance, including de-escalating volatile situations and responding accordingly.
  • Assist with the search, inventory, storage, and return of patient property.
  • Serve as a member of the crisis response team and participate/lead situational debriefs as required.
  • Respond to requests for assistance and emergent situations to manage combative/hostile patients and ensure safety.
Requirements
  • Licensure / Certification / Registration: Management of Aggressive Behavior credentialed from the Management of Aggressive Behavior Training International, Inc preferred.
  • Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable job-specific experience. Professional licensure/certification can substitute for education/experience if applicable.
