The CNC collaborates with a multidisciplinary team and mentors nursing staff while aligning with policies and quality initiatives.

The role emphasizes patient safety, regulatory compliance, and service excellence, with rotating day/evening shifts and weekends.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Licensure: active RN license in the state of employment.
• Certifications: BLS and Crisis Prevention Institute as part of orientation.
• Experience: 1+ years of applicable experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and oversees patient-centered care with a multidisciplinary team.
• Provides clinical leadership and supports nursing staff while ensuring policy adherence.
• Promotes safety, quality outcomes, and regulatory compliance through evidence-based practice.
• Assists with admission, discharge, and care coordination for efficient throughput.
• Monitors operations, equipment, and accreditation standards.
• Fosters positive patient and employee experiences through service initiatives.
• Coaches, mentors, and develops staff via training and performance feedback.
• Participates in recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
• Collaborates with physicians and leadership to promote teamwork and goals.
• Assists with staffing, scheduling, inventory, and resource utilization.
• Represents the organization in the community and events.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
