Job summary

Spring Valley Hospital, part of The Valley Health System in Las Vegas, NV, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies and philosophy. You will provide professional leadership to the healthcare team and oversee staff under your supervision with a focus on service excellence.

Requirements include an accredited nursing school graduate, Nevada RN license, and current BLS; PALS or NRP as required by department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN preferred.
• One year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting preferred.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS Certification. Current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
