Job summary

Spring Valley Hospital in Las Vegas, part of The Valley Health System, is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care in a busy acute care setting. A BSN and Nevada RN license are required; 1 year of acute care experience is preferred.

You will coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, guide care plans, and support service excellence, patient safety and positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with BSN.
• Current RN license in Nevada (state).
• Experience in acute care nursing preferred.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Assumes shift responsibility and accountability for the planning and provision of direct and indirect nursing care to patients and families.
• Coordinates multi-disciplinary team members to obtain safe, optimal health outcomes.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team and oversees staff under supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
