Qualifications

• Licensed OT/OTA per Ohio OTPTAT Board.
• Recreational Therapist must be certified or registered by recognized boards.
• Expressive Therapists must be certified or registered by recognized associations.
• BLS (within 5 weeks of hire).
• Flexibility with schedule including alternating weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Implements patient care plans and reports on patient condition.
• Facilitates communication between patient, staff, and physicians for continuity of care.
• Ensures proper documentation, billing, and compliance with regulations.
• Develops and evaluates therapeutic occupational therapy programs.
• Maintains equipment and supplies for the therapeutic process.
• Observes safety, infection control practices.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Continues professional growth through meetings and workshops.
• Participates in community activities to promote rehabilitation.
