A current Ohio license (LISW/LPCC/LMFT) is required, with remote work eligibility and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current license in Ohio as LISW, LPCC, or LMFT.
• Ability to work remotely.
• This position may not be inclusive to the Blanchard Valley Medical Practice (BVMP) that you are assigned at the time of hire, which may require you to work at another BVMP location, as needed.
• Positive service‑oriented interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Individual must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served on his/her assigned unit/department/BVMP location.
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.
• Individual must be able to use the computer for documentation in the electronic medical record and demonstrate the ability to document in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat mental health disorders.
• Provide counseling, therapy, and/or psychotherapy to individuals and families; prepare treatment and discharge plans; provide crisis intervention as required.
• Collect information via interview, case history, tests, and observation; evaluate to identify causes and determine therapeutic approach.
• Provide and/or arrange therapeutic interventions for patients in crisis or with serious disturbances.
• Assess ongoing progress to evaluate treatment effectiveness and modify services as needed.
• Consult with other therapists and staff; refer clients to appropriate services as required.
• Participate in review of clinical issues and program policies and procedures.
• Lead or coordinate training sessions and workshops to enhance treatment skills.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain client confidentiality.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
