Job summary

Sheppard Pratt in Frederick, MD is hiring a Rehabilitation Specialist for the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Day Program. This full-time, on-site role offers a supportive team environment and hands-on client care in a day program setting.

You will work M-F 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm, provide one-on-one client support, ensure medication adherence, collaborate on individual service plans, and accompany clients to medical appointments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Driver's license with 3 points or less and access to insured vehicle.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a residential counselor, working one-on-one with clients to support independent living.
• Ensuring medication compliance and safety.
• Collaborating with the service team to develop individual service plans.
• Providing transportation and attending clients’ medical appointments; advocating during appointments.
