Job summary

Sheppard Pratt Rehabilitation Specialist in Westminster, MD 21157 is a full-time, on-site role. Schedule: Monday–Friday 8am–4pm, direct care in a psychiatric rehabilitation program, emphasizing safety and therapeutic support.

You will work one-on-one with clients to learn or regain skills for independent living, ensure medication compliance, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create individualized service plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• SERVSAFE certification on hire or within 60 days.
• Ability to obtain additional certifications as program requires.
• Willingness to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Act as residential counselor, working one-on-one with clients to foster independence.
• Ensure medication compliance with safety and dosing accuracy.
• Collaborate with a service team to develop and implement plans.
• Provide transportation to medical appointments and advocate for clients.
• Maintain CACFP documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
