Job summary

Residential Services, Inc. in Cambridge, MN is seeking a full-time Mental Health Worker for the Lotus Grace program.

You will join a 24/7 Residential Crisis Stabilization and Intensive Residential Treatment Services team to implement treatment plans and support adults experiencing psychiatric instability. Responsibilities include promoting empowerment, monitoring safety, assisting with daily living activities, documenting care, and attending weekly meetings.

Qualifications

• Pass a post-offer background and MVR check.
• Valid driver’s license with no restriction.
• High school diploma or equivalent with one of the following qualifications: AA degree or 15 credits in behavioral sciences; RN; 2000 hours health and human services experience; 3 years caregiver experience; 3 years personal life experience with mental illness.

Responsibilities

• Encourage consumer empowerment and provide symptom management and relapse prevention skills.
• Safely monitor activities considering individual behavioral stability and cultural needs.
• Provide supervision and training to meet physical and personal needs.
• Offer appropriate supervision and crisis prevention and resolution techniques.
• Provide accurate medication administration and documentation.
• Assist with household tasks and transportation to promote independence.
• Respond to needs and interests per individual treatment plans.
• Complete thorough documentation within required time frames.
• Attend trainings and weekly team meetings.
