Job summary

Elwyn seeks a Mental Health Program Specialist I to implement and document programs for individuals with behavioral health needs, provide supportive counseling, and advocate for individual's needs and rights with outside support service agencies, families, etc.

This role also assists and supports individuals in all activities of daily living, facilitates therapeutic groups, and plans and implements community integration plans for individuals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with mental health/forensics credits.
• Experience in behavioral health or internship preferred.
• Team player with strong attention to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

• Join interdisciplinary team to develop treatment plans and support individuals.
• Create and maintain documentation, progress notes, and shift reports.
• Provide supportive counseling and facilitate groups to meet goals.
• Collect behavioral data and advocate for needed resources.
• Maintain health and safety, conduct crisis intervention, and attend team meetings.
