Job summary
Elwyn is a nonprofit organization serving individuals with autism, behavioral health, and related challenges. It seeks a Mental Health Program Specialist II to develop and document progress for adults in an RTF-A, provide supervision, counseling, and group facilitation to support daily living and community integration.
The position includes a Monday–Friday 3:00pm–11:00pm schedule with every other weekend, at the Glen Mills site.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a human service or related field with 1 year in adult behavioral health OR a non-human services degree with 2 years in adult behavioral health.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- CPR and crisis intervention certification or ability to obtain.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individual programs for individuals with behavioral health challenges.
- Provide supervision and program implementation.
- Document monthly summaries and assessments per director and regulations.
- Provide mental status exams and supportive counseling.
