Qualifications

  • 3-6 months experience in human services or related field required.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver's license.

Job description

Keystone Mental Health Services is currently seeking a Program Coordinator to join our team in making a positive difference in the lives of our neighbors and the community.

The Work:

  1. Provide quality supports to adults with mental illness in a residential home.
  2. Act as a role model and mentor to staff and assist the Program Supervisor to monitor aspects of program operations as needed.
  3. Assist individuals to become more independent, allowing each person in our services to take a lead role in their own rehabilitation process.
  4. Provide personal care, administer medications, and mentor individuals following their treatment and support plans.
  5. Assist with cooking, cleaning, and other household responsibilities.
  6. Plan meaningful recreational activities and take individuals into the community and to appointments as needed.
  7. Complete daily documentation as required.
  8. Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. 3-6 months experience working in human services or related field.
  3. 21 years of age or older.
  4. Ability to learn and apply proficient computer skills, including the use of software and web-based systems.
  5. Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to read, interpret and apply policies and regulations.
  6. Ability to obtain Program Administrator certification within 6 months of hire.
  7. Valid driver's license and daily access to a properly insured vehicle.
  8. Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including motor vehicle record and criminal background checks.
