Job summary

Wellpath / Correct Care Solutions is seeking a Mental Health Professional – Juvenile for PRN shifts to provide clinical services to youth involved in the criminal justice system. The role includes therapy (individual, group, family) and crisis intervention, with collaboration on treatment goals and ongoing documentation.

You will work with psychiatry staff, participate in staff meetings and trainings, and ensure ethical and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavioral or social science from an accredited college/university.
• Licensure as LMSW, LCSW, or similar (LMSW/LCSW/PLPC obtaining LPC within 6 months or LPC).
• CPR certification and any other required certifications (First Aid).

Mental Health Professional – Juvenile - PRN

This role provides clinical services under the direction of the MH Coordinator, Clinical Supervisor or MH Director to youth involved in the criminal justice system. It also involves mental health consultation and training to facility staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services, including individual, group, and family therapy, aimed at reducing maladaptive behavior and promoting healthy psychological functioning.
• Deliver crisis intervention services to youth, consulting with facility staff on treatment concerns and coordinating mental health follow-ups.
• Collaborate with patients and staff to establish, review, and update treatment goals while monitoring and documenting progress and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and reports, ensuring adherence to ethical, legal, and regulatory standards.
• Work with psychiatry staff on mental health monitoring, participate in staff meetings and training, and contribute to specialized clinical services or program development as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education
  • Master’s degree in a behavioral/social science field from an accredited college or university.
• Experience
  • Coursework and professional experience indicating knowledge of mental health counseling, group and individual psychotherapy, diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders, crisis intervention, and mental health consultation.
  • Experience working with youth preferred.
• Licenses / Certifications
  • LMSW, LPC, or similar licensure in the state from the appropriate state licensing board.
  • Must maintain CPR certification and any other required certifications (such as First Aid).
• Must be licensed as LMSW, LCSW, PLPC obtaining LPC within 6 months or LPC
