Job summary

New Story Schools is seeking a Mental Health Professional to provide counseling and emotional support for students aged 5-21 with autism and related challenges. You will develop individualized interventions and collaborate with educators and families to support academic and social growth.

Responsibilities include crisis intervention, leading social-emotional learning sessions, and documenting services in compliance with confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field
• Active Pennsylvania license or certification in counseling, social work, or school counseling
• Minimum two years of experience providing individual or group counseling to children
• Expertise in trauma-informed care and social-emotional learning
• Strong communication, crisis intervention, and collaboration skills

As a Mental Health Professional at New Story Schools, you will provide counseling and emotional support that helps students manage challenges and thrive academically and socially. You will guide students through individualized interventions, promote social-emotional learning, and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture.

What You’ll Need

• Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field
