Job summary

New Story Schools is seeking a Mental Health Professional to provide counseling and emotional support to students ages 5-21 with autism and related challenges. You will guide students through individualized interventions aligned to IEPs and promote social-emotional learning within a collaborative school culture.

In this role you will collaborate with educators and families, conduct crisis intervention when needed, lead SEL sessions for staff and students, and document services while upholding

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.
• Active PA license or certification in counseling, social work, or school counseling.
• Minimum two years of experience providing individual or group counseling to children.
• Expertise in trauma-informed care and social-emotional learning.
• Strong communication, crisis intervention, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with educators and families to design and monitor behavior or counseling plans.
