Salary: $57,000–$59,000/Year
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m-5:00 p.m. (flexible based on client needs).

About the Role:

The Mental Health Professional (MHP) supports adults with mental illness and intellectual/developmental disabilities. In this role, you will help create and carry out treatment plans, provide support in the community, and offer case management services.

This position involves working in community-based settings with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on client needs. The MHP reports directly to the Division Manager of the Behavioral Health Clinic.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide supportive counseling, including help with coping skills, goal setting, problem‑solving, and self‑advocacy
• Assess client strengths and needs
• Create and carry out person‑centered treatment plans
• Document all services, progress, and assessments in a database following DHS regulations and agency policy
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy, as well as community support and case management
• Follow all DHS, HFS, HCBS, and Medicaid regulations, along with agency policies
• Complete other duties as assigned
• Bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, education, or a related human services field
• Bachelor’s degree in any field with at least 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting under a QMHP
• High school diploma or GED with at least 5 years of clinical experience in mental health or human services
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass required background checks
