Job summary

Achievement Center of LECOM Health seeks a Mental Health Professional to provide intensive therapy to children and adolescents and their families. Services occur in school and office settings with individualized treatment plans developed from assessments of strengths and needs.

The role supports both full-time and part-time schedules under the Mental Health Services leadership, with opportunities for professional growth and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a mental health field.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, current insurance coverage and consistent access to a reliable vehicle.
• Mandated Reporter and Safety Care Training within 30 days of hire.
• Clearances with a clean record (Act 33, Act 34 or FBI Clearance).
• Minimum of one year of experience working with children/adolescents.

Position Description:

The Mental Health Professional provides intensive therapeutic services to children and adolescents and their family using research and evidenced-based therapy models targeting the specific needs of the child. Services are provided in the school and office settings with the child as a participant in his/her own treatment. The Mental Health Professional develops and implements individualized treatment plans by assessing the strengths and therapeutic needs of the child and the child’s family. We are looking for both Full and Part-time employees.

This position reports to the Manager of Mental Health Services under the direction of the Director of Mental Health Services.

Additional Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver’s license, current insurance coverage and consistent access to a reliable vehicle.
• Mandated Reporter and Safety Care Training within 30 days of hire.
• Provide clearances with a clean record, free from allegations or findings related to abuse, neglect, exploitation or other criminal acts against children, i.e. Act 33, Act 34 or FBI Clearance.

Preferred Training / Experience:

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with children/adolescents.
