Job summary

Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls is seeking a Mental Health Professional II to deliver supervised mental health services to patients and families, including assessments, psycho-education, and therapy using evidence-based approaches.

The role involves developing treatment plans, coordinating with the care team, monitoring safety, and supporting discharge planning with follow-up care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree required.
• LPC/LMHC licensed or LMSW/RCSW-I relevant licensure typical for this role.
• BLS/CPR within 7 days of start; Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Conducts one-on-one, group, and family psychoeducational and process groups.
• Develops treatment plans and attends treatment planning meetings.
• Assess environment and patient’s safety status and report/respond to safety issues.
• Identify risk factors and interventions for patients with special precautions.
• Completes assessments, group notes, and documentation promptly and accurately.
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to assess discharge planning needs.
• Conducts post-discharge follow-up as indicated.
