Job summary

High Focus Centers – Jenkintown seeks a Mental Health PHP Lead Therapist to provide direct therapeutic services and clinical leadership within the PHP program. You will facilitate therapy sessions, support treatment planning, and coordinate care for clients in a structured behavioral health setting.

The role requires a Master's degree in counseling or related field, plus experience in PHP/IOP settings; collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field.
• Experience providing individual and group therapy.
• Experience working with a range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, suicidality, OCD, autism spectrum disorders, and behavioral challenges.
• Experience in PHP, IOP, outpatient, or structured behavioral health settings preferred.
• Family therapy experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and clinical documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group, individual, and family therapy sessions
• Provide clinical leadership and support within the PHP program
• Conduct level-of-care assessments and support appropriate treatment recommendations
• Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, families, and the treatment team
• Address clients' behavioral and emotional needs through therapeutic interventions and crisis support
• Monitor and evaluate client progress and adjust treatment approaches as appropriate
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with program and regulatory standards
• Participate in treatment team meetings and support continuity of care
• Collaborate with clinical and program staff to support effective daily programming
• Provide guidance and support to other therapists and clinical staff as appropriate
• Participate in staff meetings, training, supervision, and other program activities
• Maintain appropriate professional and ethical boundaries while promoting a safe and therapeutic environment

Mental Health PHP Lead Therapist

Location: High Focus Centers - Jenkintown, PA

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Salary Range: $60,000, based on education, licensure, and experience

Position Overview

We are seeking a Mental Health PHP Lead Therapist to join our Jenkintown team. This role provides clinical support and leadership within our Mental Health Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), while providing direct therapeutic services to clients.

The Lead Therapist will facilitate therapeutic programming, support treatment planning and clinical coordination, and help maintain a safe, supportive, and effective treatment environment.
