Position

Outpatient Therapist – Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Location

High Focus Centers – Center City, Philadelphia, PA

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Compensation

$55,000 - $57,000 annually, based on experience, education, licensure, and other relevant qualifications.

Primary Responsibilities

• Facilitate PHP group therapy sessions for individuals experiencing mental health and/or co‑occurring disorders.
• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary team members to support treatment goals and successful outcomes.
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and insurance reviews.
• Coordinate care with referral sources, family members, and community providers as appropriate.
• Maintain a minimum of 25 billable sessions per week while supporting overall program operations.
• Participate in clinical team meetings, case consultations, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support program and client needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a clinical internship or practicum as part of the degree program.
• Previous experience facilitating group therapy in an outpatient behavioral health setting preferred.
• Familiarity with Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) levels of care and evidence‑based treatment modalities preferred.
• Professional licensure preferred but not required (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent).
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and multidisciplinary treatment teams.
