Job summary

Chamberlain University is seeking a Nursing Faculty member for Mental Health at the Irving campus. The role involves teaching in classroom, online, and clinical settings, with flexible evening and weekend classes.

You will mentor students, participate in committees, and contribute to service and scholarship aligned with Chamberlain’s mission. The position requires a Master’s in Nursing (PhD preferred), Texas licensure or eligibility, and at least 2 years of clinical nursing experience.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in nursing is required; PhD preferred.
Texas RN licensure or eligibility to obtain is required.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing clinical experience.
Strong communication, initiative, and judgment.
Tech savvy with LMS, simulation tools, and online platforms; AI capability beneficial.

Responsibilities

Teach assigned nursing courses (classroom, online, clinical, lab, simulation).
Develop and implement course curricula and materials.
Evaluate students and provide feedback/remediation as needed.
Lead clinical learning, ensure students are practice-ready with safe, ethical practice.
Engage in scholarly activities about teaching and nursing practice.
