Job summary

Chamberlain University is seeking a campus-based Nursing Faculty member specializing in Mental Health at the Addison campus. You will teach, mentor, and evaluate students while contributing to curriculum, service, and scholarship in alignment with Chamberlain’s mission.

The role requires a Master’s in Nursing, 2+ years of clinical experience (preferably in Mental Health), active licensure, and strong communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing is required.
• 2+ years of clinical experience, preferably in Mental Health.
• Active, unencumbered licensure or certification as required.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging nursing instruction across classroom, clinical, lab, and simulation environments.
• Create inclusive, student-centered learning experiences; identify individual needs and foster meaningful relationships.
• Evaluate student performance with timely feedback and remediation.
• Lead or support clinical learning experiences; connect theory to practice and ensure safe, ethical, and professional practice readiness.
• Contribute to curriculum development and implement course materials.
• Use technology and AI tools to enhance teaching and student outcomes.
• Coach and support students and new faculty.
