Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing is required.
• 2+ years of nursing practice as a registered nurse in the last five years.
• Excellent communication skills with initiative and prudent judgment.
• Professional Nurse licensure is required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implements the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes and course objectives through clinical teaching.
• Plans clinical experiences and provides supervision and evaluation of nursing students.
• Maintains contact with staff at agencies and provides remediation as needed.
• Develops written clinical assignments aligned with students' knowledge and needs.
• Covers didactic content under supervision and supports program development.
• Keeps the course coordinator informed of student and agency issues and concerns.
• Collaborates with administration and faculty to improve operations and student satisfaction.
• Performs other duties as assigned and adheres to policies and standards.
