Job summary
BRC Mental Health Services in Boise is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide medication management and nursing care for adults in outpatient and residential housing settings. Qualifications
- Current NP license required in Idaho
- DEA certificate required
- Experience with psychotropic medications preferred
- Excellent documentation and HIPAA compliance
Responsibilities
- Prescribe or direct psychotropic medications in coordination with treatment teams
- Perform ongoing evaluations of clients with SPMI
- Conduct health assessments at admission and during follow-ups
- Consult with clinicians regarding medical problems
- Provide in-person and remote assessments and treatment recommendations
- Document all mental healthcare contacts promptly
- Collaborate with physicians and housing staff on care plans
- Develop individualized Treatment Plans and participate in planning sessions
- Ensure timely completion of billable documentation
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with policies and procedures
