Job summary

Paugus Bay Behavioral Health in New Hampshire is seeking a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner to support our outpatient and intensive outpatient programs, with a flexible but consistent schedule. The role focuses on psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and coordination of care within a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate will hold an NH NP license, DEA registration, and have experience in behavioral health and MAT. 10 hours per week minimum; weekday daytime hours; no weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing required.
• Active and unrestricted NP license in New Hampshire.
• DEA license required prior to hire.
• MAT experience and SUD/co-occurring conditions preferred.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management for IOP/outpatient/PHP clients.
• Review and sign laboratory orders, including urine drug screening.
• Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up care.
• Schedule and manage patient follow-ups to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in the EMR.
• Coordinate patient care with therapists, nursing staff, primary care providers, and team.
• Participate in interdisciplinary case consultations and meetings.
• Educate clients on medications, treatment planning, and recovery support.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practices.
