Job summary

Priory Hospital Ayr Clinic/ Low Secure Forensic Ward is seeking a Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse to join our team. The role is full-time, permanent, based at Ayr Clinic in Ayr, with a salary of £36,176 - £41,953 per year plus a £5,000 welcome bonus.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, provide safe nursing care, and rotate across day and night shifts on the low secure ward.

Qualifications

• Qualified Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse with active NMC registration.
• Minimum of 12 months post-registration experience in a mental health care environment.
• Good understanding of NMC guidelines, requirements and professional standards.
• Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed nursing care safely and effectively.
• Maintain a safe, supportive care environment with professional accountability.
• Work within the Multi-Disciplinary Team on the low secure ward with rotational shifts.
