Community Care Network is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. The role involves clinical duties under supervision, client intake and care, vital signs, medication administration and first aid, and adherence to professional and ethical standards.

The position requires a CCMA, CPR and First Aid certifications, and at least 1 year of MA experience. A valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a background check are needed. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) required.
• CPR and First Aid Certification required.
• 1 year of Medical Assistant or equivalent experience required.
• Working knowledge of psychotropic medications and related data helpful.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Successful completion of a criminal history background check after hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provide client care as part of a team of doctors, nurses, mental health professionals, and therapists.
• Administer mini-mental health screens and enter data to chart using the EMR system.
• Manage and obtain client medical history and data as needed.
• Administer injectable medications during shot clinic events as necessary.
• Monitor clients for changes in symptoms or treatment side effects.
• Answer calls and gather pertinent data per protocol.
• Schedule/cancel appointments for clients.
• Assist with referrals to psychosocial or mental health treatments.
• Educate clients about mental health and substance use treatments.
