Job summary

St. Joseph Center in Los Angeles County invites applications for the Mental Health Lead position within the Office of Diversion and Re-entry.

Under supervision of the Program Manager, the role provides clinical direction, supervises case managers and unlicensed staff, and coordinates mental health, rehabilitation, and medication support services. Responsibilities include providing individual and group clinical support, developing clinical training, managing documentation and care plans, and

Qualifications

• Active CA BBS registration.
• Must obtain LPS designation on hire.
• Experience with severely and chronically mentally ill adults in a community setting.
• Knowledge of DSM-V, trauma-informed care, and harm reduction.
• Knowledge of Evidence Based Practices and/or Recovery Model of treatment.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group clinical support to case managers and unlicensed staff per BBS guidelines.
• Develop and implement clinical training for the ODR program.
• Provide mental health guidance and complete clinical documentation (progress notes, care plans, assessments).
• Hold a small caseload in addition to team support.
• Assist management with clinical support and lead debriefs as needed.
