Qualifications

• Associate degree or 3+ years of experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Understanding of mental health diagnoses and crisis intervention.
• Proficient with EMR and insurance verification processes.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage intake and scheduling operations for patients.
• Coordinate with clinicians for levels of care and scheduling needs.
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR.
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain pre-authorizations as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of community resources and referrals.
• Support patient engagement during intake and improve workflows.
• Serve as liaison between patients, families, and clinical teams.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and other regulatory standards.
• Assist with various duties in the local office.
