Job summary

Adult Correction is seeking a Human Services Provider Program Coordinator I to join the Behavioral Health Department at Maury Correctional Institution in Hookerton, NC. The role focuses on delivering inter-disciplinary, person-centered services to adults with intellectual disabilities, dementia, mental health disorders, and co-occurring conditions within a therapeutic diversion framework.

You will implement portions of the individualized treatment plan, facilitate groups and psychiatry clinics,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services or related field and one year of experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may qualify.
• Advanced degrees may substitute for education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate, monitor, and document individual mental health progress in groups and clinics.
• Organize and facilitate psychiatry clinics and psychoeducational groups.
• Conduct outreach to individuals in restrictive housing and referrals for programming.
• Identify opportunities and obstacles to enhance self-determination and community participation.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and habilitative services.
