Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a clinical field (social work, counseling, or psychology) with valid TN license.
• Eligibility for Mandatory Prescreening Agent.
• Strong assessment skills, sound judgment, and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical review, MPA screening, consultation and supervision to crisis staff during shift.
• Oversee Walk-in Center during overnight shift and assist with staffing concerns.
• Liaise between CSU, SUTR, Crisis Call Center and VBH departments.
• Assist with intakes and admissions as needed.
• Provide crisis assessment, counseling, linkage and referrals.
• Complete data entry and maintain the electronic record system.
• Provide crisis follow-up and documentation.
• Train new crisis clinicians when applicable.
• Provide shift reports to Regional Crisis Director/Sr. Director of Crisis Continuum.
