Job summary

Riverside Community Care in the Worcester area is seeking a Mental Health Counselor to support adults in Group Living Environments (GLEs) within ACCS. You will partner with residents to promote personal goals, teach daily living skills, and foster wellness and independence in a supportive setting.

This full-time role requires evening/weekend availability and teamwork in a compassionate program focused on recovery. Driving may be needed for transportation.

Qualifications

• Must work well in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends; valid driver’s license and transportation available for persons served.

Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours

• Sunday through Thursday and Tuesday through Saturday schedules available! Mixed shifts required.

Pay Rate: $21.37/hour

Required Skills

• Must have a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment

Required Experience

• Bachelor's Degree preferred. High School diploma and one year related experience required
• Experience working with recovery model, dual diagnosis, and/or addictions a plus
