Job summary

Riverside Community Care is seeking a Mental Health Counselor in our Group Living Environments (GLE's) to support adults on their path to recovery. You will work collaboratively with residents to promote independence, skills, and well-being in a safe, supportive home setting.

You will provide guidance, daily living support, and emotional wellness activities while coordinating with a dedicated ACCS team to empower residents through person-centered care and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Must work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Evening and weekend hours required; valid driver’s license and transportation may be needed.

Schedule:

Full Time, 40 hours

• Tuesday - Thursday: 8am to 4pm
• Friday - Saturday: 1pm to 9pm

Pay Rate:

$21.37/hour

Required Skills

• Must have a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment

Required Experience

• Bachelor's Degree preferred. High School diploma and one year related experience required
• Experience working with recovery model, dual diagnosis, and/or addictions a plus
