Position Summary
Youth Recovery court (YRC) provides intensive wrap around mental health and co-occurring services to youth and their families. It is designed to serve youth that are involved with the juvenile justice system.
The Youth Recovery Court Mental Health Clinician will provide individual, family and group therapy services to the youth and family that will address the criminogenic needs and the mental health needs identified in the comprehensive mental health assessment. The MH Clinician is the point person of contact. The clinician will provide comprehensive mental health assessments and take the lead in staffing the referral with the partners in YRC during staffing.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work or another related field. Licensed LCPC or LCSW preferred.
Responsibilities
Develop and complete required assessments within time frame, develop and implement interim and long term treatment plan with client, coordinate psychiatric services and treatment
Coordinate and collaborate with all Youth Recovery Court team members regarding comprehensive services provided to participants, including complete information sharing and coordination of delivery of services.
Be an active member of the Winnebago County 17th Judicial Circuit Youth Recovery Court team by participating in team meetings, attending court appointments and coordinating services with the court team.
Provide referral and linkage.
Consult with psychiatrists, psychologists and nurses for disposition
Provide transportation as needed
Provide community based case management services and all other medically necessary services according to Rule 132 and Rosecrance policies and procedures. Seventy percent of the services should be provided in the community.
Coordinate immediate treatment and arrange for any necessary transportation needs, complete appropriate referral for intervention
Complete documentation in a timely manner
Attend required meetings and training
Understand and comply with all of the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
Serve as a role model for other staff, clients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance.

Compensation & Rewards
Base Pay: Starting at $43,908.80/year (pay is based on education, experience, and credentials)
Bonus: Up to $4,000 paid out quarterly over 2 years
