GEO Corrections & Detentions seeks a licensed mental health clinician to provide the full range of outpatient services within an institutional setting. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver individual and group counseling for inmates.

You will also manage casework, document thoroughly, and collaborate with security, medical, and classification teams while handling crisis situations and planning for post-release care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in mental health; licensure/provisional/licensed intern status under Florida statutes.
• Experience providing mental health services in institutional settings preferred.
• Ability to work in crisis situations professionally.
• Strong counseling and motivational skills; report writing proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Conduct mental health interviews, screenings, and evaluations to determine services and treatment plans for inmates.
• Provide full range of mental health services including individual and group counseling and inmate consultations.
• Carry out case management on 30–90 day bases to ensure continuity of services.
• Prepare documentation in accordance with standards and timelines.
• Collaborate with Security, Medical, and Classification departments as needed.
• Respond to psychological emergencies and provide crisis intervention.
• Coordinate post-release planning and liaise with community mental health facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
