The GEO Group is seeking a licensed mental health clinician to provide a full range of outpatient services in a correctional setting. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and offer individual, group, and crisis interventions for inmates, coordinating care with security and medical staff.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in mental health and state licensure or intern status, with the ability to work in crisis situations and produce concise documentation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mental health with licensure or internship status.
• Experience in institutional mental health settings preferred.
• Strong crisis intervention and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mental health interviews and assessments to plan treatment.
• Provide individual and group counseling, and inmate consultations.
• Manage case coordination every 30–90 days for service continuity.
• Prepare documentation per state standards clearly and timely.
• Collaborate with Security, Medical, and Classification teams as needed.
• Respond to crises and perform crisis intervention up to involuntary hospitalization.
