Job summary

SCHARP in Los Angeles is seeking a Clinician under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor to provide comprehensive, integrated therapeutic mental health services to clients in the OCS program. You will be part of the OCS staff team and ensure documentation meets required standards.

Qualifications include a Master's degree in a related field, CA BBS registration, and a minimum of two years’ experience with mentally ill and homeless populations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum two years’ experience with mentally ill and homeless populations.
• Registered with CA BBS for the area of specialty.
• Pass California DOJ background check / Live Scan.
• Valid CA driver’s license and access to a car with adequate insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to OCS clients in the SCHARP OCS program.
• Collaborate with LA County DMH, psychiatrists and other staff to ensure consistent services.
• Serve as QMHP for assigned clients; ensure assessments and treatment plans meet standards.
• Plan, develop and conduct groups as needed.
• Maintain 6 hours of billable service per day and timely documentation.
