Job summary

The People Concern is seeking a HSSP Clinician to join the Westside Mental Health Office in Santa Monica. This full-time role is part of the Housing Supportive Services Program (HSSP) and focuses on delivering psychotherapy and case management to adults with serious mental illness in office, home, and field settings.

You will engage clients, coordinate mental health services, support housing stability, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote recovery, independence, and community

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited university.
• Valid registration or licensure with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
• Current, valid California Driver's license with acceptable driving record and reliable vehicle.
• Able to transport members in your personal vehicle.
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management, organizational, written, verbal, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide, coordinate, and implement mental health and recovery support services with individual members.
• Conduct individual, family and group psychotherapy.
• Develop effective, trusting relationships with members, focusing on independence and improved health.
• Collaborate with each member to develop their individual service plan; review and update it upon completion of goals.
• Assist management and other Clinicians with program evaluation and modification for future program improvements and growth.
• Assist members with daily activities, socialization, health maintenance, sense of community, and recovery progress.
• Work cooperatively with the HSSP team, including weekly staff meetings and trainings.
• Maintain complete, accurate member files with funder-required documents.
• Assist in crisis interventions and participate in on-call rotation for After Hours Emergency Line.
