Job summary

Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care (UBHC) seeks a Mental Health Clinician III for the Addictions Program. The clinician will provide evaluation, assessment and therapeutic intervention to address psychological and social needs.

Responsibilities include formulating evaluations, developing treatment plans, conducting individual, group and family therapy, and performing case management. Strong licensure requirements and program development involvement are expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in mental health discipline and licensure to practice as required by New Jersey state laws governing the discipline.
• Must obtain an LCADC within two (2) years of hire.
• If degree is in Social Work, active NJ certification/licensure per the State Board of Social Work.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation, assessment and therapeutic intervention.
• Develop and implement treatment plans.
• Conduct individual, group, and family therapy.
• Provide case management functions.
• Contribute to program development and meet annual requirements.
