Job summary

Stars Behavioral Health Group is seeking a Mental Health Clinician for the Youth Full-Service Partnership in Fresno, CA. The position offers a 4-day/10-hour schedule and on-site work, with a starting compensation of $75,000–$85,000 per year.

The role requires a Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field, plus relevant licensure (AMFT/ACSW/APCC/LMFT/LCSW/LPCC) and at least one year of direct mental health experience. Benefits include comprehensive coverage and CEU opportunities.

• One year direct service experience in a mental health setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess needs and develop treatment plans for youth and families.
• Coordinate care with the treatment team and facilitate meetings.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy.
• Deliver services in homes, schools, community settings and the office.
• Assist with crisis intervention, case management, and resource connections.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and outcome measures.

What You Bring To SBHG

Education and Experience

• Master's degree in social work, marriage & family therapy, or psychology from an accredited college or university required.
• One (1) year direct service experience in a mental health setting required (student internship and/or practicum time may be substituted).
• Mental Health Specialist II: Licensed as AMFT, ACSW, APCC, LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC required.

Requirements

• A valid California Driver’s License and compliance with Agency driving eligibility criteria.

How You Will Make a Difference

Provides clinical services to youth, adolescents, and families by assessing their needs, developing treatment plans, and coordinating care with the treatment team. Facilitates treatment meetings, provides individual, family, and group therapy, and delivers services in homes, schools, community settings, and the office. Assists with crisis intervention, case management, and connecting clients to resources while maintaining accurate and timely documentation, reports, and outcome measures in compliance with agency requirements.

Division/Program Overview

• Population Served: Serving ages 11-18
• Facility & Setting: Outpatient community-based services and support. Delivers client services throughout Fresno County within designated county limits. May be required to transport clients/client family members utilizing personal vehicle.
• Clinical Services: Individual Counseling.
• Skills & Services: Medication management, Housing, Education, and Vocational Support services.
• Role specific Benefits & Reimbursements: Mileage reimbursement included at a rate of $0.85 per mile and Monthly stipend included (Cell phone / Internet)
