Job summary

Transitions Counseling and Consulting in Arizona seeks a Clinical Supervisor to lead and mentor therapists, interns, and clinical staff. You will supervise, ensure compliance, and guide staff training, while coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team to optimize client outcomes.

This hybrid role requires regular in-person attendance with some remote work, and a commitment to ethical, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners at independent level (LPC/LMFT/LCSW).
• One year of clinical supervision experience preferred but not required.
• Fingerprint clearance card from Arizona DPS; CPR and first aid certification current.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and mentor therapists, interns, and clinical support staff with adherence to policies.
• Address personnel issues and participate in hiring and staff training.
• Address patient concerns and ensure high-quality care.
• Participate in rotating phone-based call schedule; no overnight hours.
• Provide direct client therapy as scheduled with evidence-based approaches.
• Coordinate care with other professionals to support treatment plans.

• Location: This role requires regular in-person attendance at the designated office location in accordance with an agreed-upon work schedule at the time of hire. A hybrid schedule will have 1-2 days of remote work.

Your Role:

• Mentorship and Supervision:
• Directly supervise and mentor therapists, interns, and clinical support staff. This includes adhering to and tracking supervision policies, hours, and files to ensure compliance and development.
• Address personnel issues, participate in the clinical interviewing and hiring process, and manage staff training and compliance needs.
• Client and Team Support:
• Address patient concerns promptly and ensure the quality of care remains at the highest standard.
• Participate in a rotating phone-based call schedule during hours-of-service delivery, along with other supervisory staff members—note that no overnight hours are required.
• Provide direct client therapy through evidence-based treatment according to an agreed-upon schedule, ensuring that each client receives personalized and effective care.
• Work closely with other professionals, including therapists, interns, and clinical support staff, to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
• Coordinate care with other professionals to support comprehensive treatment plans and positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.
• Must be licensed by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners on an independent level as an LPC, LMFT or LCSW.
• One (1) year of clinical supervision experience in the behavioral health field preferred but not required.
• Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners Supervisor Training preferred but not required. If Arizona Supervisor training is not complete at the time of hire, training should be completed within 30 days of start date (sponsored by our team).
• Provide current level one fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety and renew as applicable.
• Continuously maintain active Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and first aid certification.
